Biography

Frankie Bird is an indie pop/ rock singer-songwriter from Reading, UK. Since beginning to write songs at age 14 and performing live at local pubs from the age of 16, Frankie has penned a multitude of songs to hone her craft. She champions authenticity and storytelling and is credited as the sole writer for all of her music. Her guitar based songs have been noted for their thoughtful, personal lyrics and memorable melodies.

Frankie moved to London in late 2021 to pursue her career in music, becoming a regular on the open mic circuit and performing at venues across the city. She released three singles in 2022 which received positive reviews and support from Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing in Berkshire. In summer 2023, Frankie released her debut EP ‘Grassroots’, an introspective concept record about moving to London and starting out in the music industry. She has also developed her stagecraft by performing around the country including in Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford and Brighton. Her latest release is ‘So Sky Blue’, an uplifting and addictive single, recorded in Notting Hill. It marks a new chapter in her discography and solidifies her as an artist to watch in 2024.
